JESUS LOVES YOU!!!

LETS PRAY 🙏

Isaiah 3:10 (KJV)  Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. By the word of the LORD it shall be well with you, you will eat the fruit of your doing in strength, good health, joy and fulfilment to the glory of God in Jesus mighty name.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: SATURDAY FEBRUARY 17TH, 2024.

THEME: DON'T TOUCH HIS GLORY

MEMORISE:

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues

and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:2

READ: Matthew 6:1-4

1  Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you,

3 They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

MESSAGE

I have seen people who help others and at every opportunity, refer to the time they helped them. That is a very terrible thing to do, and it is not how God taught us to do good. Jesus said in Matthew 6:3 that when you give alms, you must not let anyone else know about it. In Matthew 5:16, He said that as your light

shines and people see your good works, they must glorify God. In other words, you are not to seek any glory for yourself as a result of the good works that you do; all the glory must be to God and God alone.

When you help someone, and you go back to tell the fellow, "Remember how I helped you that other time," you are indirectly trying to make them your prisoner. Don't ever make anyone feel like they owe you because you helped them at one time or the other. When you do good, do it unto God. Don't become a pain in

somebody's neck or a source of remembering their shame just because you once helped them. You must note that it is God who ordained for you to perform that good deed for that fellow. He already planned on doing it, you were only privileged to be the one He chose to use. Ephesians 2:10 says:

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

If God created you for good works and ordained that you walk in them, and you turn around to announce the good works as your own doing, proclaiming yourself as the helper of someone else's destiny, what you are doing is trying to take God's glory, and if you know anything about God at all, you will know that He does not share His glory with any man. Isaiah 42:8 says:

I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Don't try to contend with God over the good things He is doing in the lives of others through you, You are merely His vessel and all the glory must Go to Him. This way you will receive rewards for the good that you have done rather than face consequences for trying to take HIS glory.

KEY POINT

Don't become a pain in someone's neck just because God used you to help him or her at one time or the other.

HYMN 1: ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS NAME

1 All hail the power of Jesus' name!

Let angels prostrate fall.

Bring forth the royal diadem,

and crown him Lord of all.

Bring forth the royal diadem,

and crown him Lord of all!

2 O seed of Israel's chosen race

now ransomed from the fall,

hail him who saves you by his grace,

and crown him Lord of all.

Hail him who saves you by his grace,

and crown him Lord of all!

3 Let every tongue and every tribe

responsive to his call,

to him all majesty ascribe,

and crown him Lord of all.

To him all majesty ascribe,

and crown him Lord of all!

4 Oh, that with all the sacred throng

we at his feet may fall!

We'll join the everlasting song

and crown him Lord of all.

We'll join the everlasting song

and crown him Lord of all.

Open Heavens Prayer Points

PRAYER POINTS ON TODAY'S OPEN HEAVENS:

Friday,16, February, 2024

DIVINE PROMOTION

Special Note.

These prayer points are not written by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, but by one of his, disciples, of Christ, who was inspired and mandated by the Holy Spirit, effective, January 1st, 2015, to start writing these prayer points, based on the Open Heavens Daily Devotional authored by Pastor E. A. Adeboye.

Some of the prayer points are deep spiritually and may not be understood by carnal minds.

If you want to be blessed from these prayer points, you must first, surrender Your life, to the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself, by saying this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire. In Jesus' name, I pray.”

Prayer Points

1.I worship and adore You, my Father, You're the One who holds tomorrow; true promotion comes only from You.

2.Father, You're the Almighty God, who can pick the beggar from the dunghill and continue to lift him until he begins to sit amongst princes.

3.Thank You, Father, because my promotion is not in the hands of man, but in Your hands.

4.Father, in anyway I have fallen short  of your glory, please, have mercy and

forgive me; let Your mercy prevail over judgement of sin in my life, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, have mercy upon me, and give me a broken and a contrite heart, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, let every man-made obstacle against my promotion be scattered, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, go ahead and above every power, paying lips service to my promotion, and  promote me Yourself, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please, promote me this year beyond all my own imaginations and above the expectations of my enemies, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please, let me be rewarded for all my labours in Your vineyard, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, bless your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye; and, bless his ministry, home, and family (biological and spiritual), forever, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.

12.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus' name.

( Philippians 4:6)

14.In Jesus' name I pray.

(John 14:13-14; 15:16)

Note:

You may not add, subtract or rearrange these prayer points. The Holy Spdirit is the author, though He used someone, who, out of humility has refused to take glory for it, by not putting his name. It is plagiarism to use, or pass as your own, someone's else writing or work. The original author of these prayer points is the Holy Spirit. So, share, but don't share His glory with Him in the process.

Remain blessed, as you obey, in Jesus' name.

JESUS LOVES YOU!!!

LETS PRAY 🙏

Psalms 68:19 (KJV)  Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. May the Lord by His mercy visit you and load you with benefits difficult to explain as they are beyond expectations in Jesus mighty name.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: FRIDAY FEBRUARY 16TH, 2024.

THEME: DIVINE PROMOTION

MEMORISE:

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Psalm 75:7

READ: Psalms 75:4-7

4 I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

MESSAGE

The best promotion anyone can have is that which comes from God; nobody can take glory for such. In 1 Samuel 16:1-13, a shepherd boy was anointed to be king, not because somebody liked him or spoke for him, but because God decided to promote

him. I believe God wants to promote someone reading this today and that will be you, in Jesus' name.

When God begins to promote a man, there is no telling how high He can take him, because His arms are everlasting (Deuteronomy 33:27). 1 Samuel 2:8 says that He can pick a beggar from the dunghill and continue to lift him until he begins to sit amongst princes-that is real promotion.

My father was so poor that poor people called him poor. The day he bought an umbrella there was jubilation in our home as if we had just bought a house. If God could pick the son of a poor farmer and cause him to be someone that Heads of States will be delighted to meet, then you really cannot tell how high He can lift you. He promoted David from being the least recognized member of his family until he became the father of the King of kings (Revelation 22:16).

Now that you know that there is no limit to how far God can take you, the next thing you must ask is, "How can I become a candidate for divine promotion?" The first thing you need for God to choose you for promotion is mercy. He said in Romans 9:15 that He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. He is

Sovereign; He chooses to promote whomever He pleases. One kind of person, however, that I know God will never ignore is one with a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). This is when a fellow's will is so broken that all he or she desires is to please God at all times. Such a person never wants to offend God, and

whenever they mistakenly offend Him, they become sorrowful and immediately ask for forgiveness.

This is the kind of person God was searching for when He needed someone to become the king of Israel. He said in Acts 13:22 that He had found a man who will do all His will. This is the kind of person God will promote- if you are like that, then you have become a candidate for divine promotion.

REFLECTION

Are you totally sold out to the will of God? Have you been doing all His will?

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Numbers 22-24

HYMN 8: I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR

1 I need Thee ev'ry hour,

Most gracious Lord;

No tender voice like Thine

Can peace afford.

Refrain:

I need Thee, oh, I need Thee;

Ev'ry hour I need Thee;

Oh, bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

2 I need Thee ev'ry hour,

Stay Thou nearby;

Temptations lose their pow’r

When Thou art nigh.

3 I need Thee ev'ry hour,

In joy or pain;

Come quickly and abide,

Or life is vain.

4 I need Thee ev'ry hour,

Teach me Thy will;

And Thy rich promises

In me fulfill.
