‎PRAYER POINTS 

‎✓Father, I worship and adore You today and always, for You are not a man that is limited in knowledge and in power; Your see not like a man, for Your ways and thoughts are not like his'.

‎✓Father, thank You for giving us the Holy Spirit to reveal the deep and secret things by the power of Your word.

‎✓Father, please open the eyes of my understanding that I may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, in Christ Jesus

‎✓Father, please open my ears to hear spiritual conversation, and give me seeing eyes so I might see beyond the physical into the secret plans of the enemies around me, in Jesus' name 

‎✓Father, in the midst of troublous times, please open my eyes to see the host of the the army of heaven around me, so I can rest in Your victory, in Jesus' name.

‎✓Father, I refuse to see only the ordinary, please give me seeing eyes so I can see into the spiritual realm and possess the great and mighty things You have prepared for me before my very enemies, in Jesus' name.

‎✓Father, I refuse to see myself as a weakling, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I am the image and likeness of God, I am a soldier in the army of the Lord, I possess the power of the Holy Spirit to trample upon serpent and scorpion because I am more than a conqueror, through the love of Christ.

‎✓Father, I receive victory over every battle in any area of my life, I will not fail again, for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world, in Jesus' name

‎✓Father, I receive the heart of a lion because I belong to the Lion of the tribe of Judah; I receive the sight of the eagle because my Father is the Light of the world.

‎✓Father, henceforth, I walk in the glorious light of the Holy Spirit because Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

‎✓Lord, please let my eyes be open from now on so I can see the power that backs me up as a child of God, and cease to be afraid of challenges that may come my way, in Jesus' name

8 Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.

9 And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down.

10 And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.

11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel?

12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.

14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.

15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

18 And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the Lord, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindness. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

19 And Elisha said unto them, This is not the way, neither is this the city: follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom ye seek. But he led them to Samaria.

20 And it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, Lord, open the eyes of these men, that they may see. And the Lord opened their eyes, and they saw; and, behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.

21 And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite them? shall I smite them?

22 And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.

23 And he prepared great provision for them: and when they had eaten and drunk, he sent them away, and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.

MESSAGE

In today's Bible reading, Elisha was in Israel, but he could hear what the king of Syria was planning far away in his bedchamber. As a result, all the king's battle plans against Israel failed. The Syrian king was seriously disturbed by that, so he sent an army to capture the prophet. It didn't occur to him that the fellow who could hear the things he was planning in his bedroom must have some serious spiritual backing. When Elisha's servant saw the army that was sent to arrest his master, he became agitated and ran to Elisha, shaking with fear. He could only see the troop of Syrian soldiers that surrounded his master's house, but he couldn't see the horses and chariots of fire of the angelic hosts that surrounded them. To put his servant's mind at rest, however, Elisha prayed, "Lord, open his eyes that he may see" (2 Kings 6:17). I am sure that immediately the servant's eyes were opened and he saw the mighty host surrounding them, his fear disappeared.

Beloved, what you see will always affect how you respond to situations. If all you can see is what is happening in the natural realm, you will feel threatened by challenges, just like Elisha's servant. You will continually live in fear until your eyes are open to see that God has prepared a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5). You don't have to be afraid of the devil because He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Don't tremble in the presence of the one who should be trembling when he sees you. (1 Peter 5:8) says that he is moving around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Lions typically prefer to target weak prey; therefore, if you see yourself as being weak and vulnerable, the devil may be encouraged to attack you. However, if you understand the power of the One who lives inside you, he will stay away from you.

Child of God, do you see yourself as being too strong for any problem to overcome, or do you panic when faced with challenges? I pray that your eyes will be opened from now on, so you can see the power that backs you up as a child of God and cease to be afraid of challenges that come your way.

‎✓Father, thank You for creating me with eyes to see physically, thank You because by Your mercy You will take care of all Your children with eye problems.

MEMORISE

And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness. - (Isaiah 29:18)

14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

15 And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

16 And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

MESSAGE

Yesterday, I mentioned that eyes that see are not just physical eyes. When the Lord gives you eyes that see, you will begin to experience relief in any situation where you might have previously experienced hardship. In today's Bible reading, as Hagar and her son, Ishmael, journeyed in the wilderness, they ran out of water to drink. The wilderness is not a place to wander in without water; hence, it did not take long before Ishmael got dehydrated and weak. He became so weak that his mother thought he would die. Knowing that there was nothing she could do to keep her son alive, she distanced herself from him and began to weep. At that moment, God intervened and opened her eyes to see that the solution to her problem was right beside her. There was a well of water close to her, but she didn't see it until God opened her eyes. How sad would it have been if she had died of thirst without knowing that the solution she was seeking was so close to her. If you are currently experiencing any challenges, I pray that the Almighty God will open your eyes to see the right solutions to them, in Jesus' name.

When people don't have seeing eyes, they will walk in darkness. They may have blessings all around them, but they may still suffer because they cannot see them. Those who do not have seeing eyes are at the mercy of others. They stumble at things that shouldn't ordinarily trip them up because they cannot see. Darkness brings confusion and emptiness, and this is why the earth was void and without form until God commanded light to be (Genesis 1:2).

Beloved, God wants to give you eyes that see so that you can see His numerous blessings and enjoy His never-ending goodness. What He wanted Hagar to see was a well of water; however, for you, He might want you to see another source of income, a better way of doing all that He wants you to do, or better ways of relating with people. He does not want you to live in darkness; rather, He wants you to be full of light. He wants to show you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches in secret places. I pray that the Lord will open your eyes to see all the good things He has prepared for you, in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: SEEING EYES 1

MEMORISE

The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them. - (Proverbs 20:12)

READ: 2 Kings 4:1-7 (KJV)

1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.

3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.

6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

MESSAGE

Today's Bible reading tells us about a widow who was about to lose her sons to slavery because her late husband left behind a huge debt. She was in a desperate situation, and in her desperation, she ran to Prophet Elisha and shared her plight with him. After telling the prophet about her troubles, he asked her what she had in her house, and she replied, "Nothing, except a pot of oil." She thought that what she had was little, but she didn't realise that it was all she needed to become financially free.

Sometimes, you don't need more than what you already have in order to receive what God has in store for you. All that the widow in today's Bible reading needed to have a financial breakthrough had been in her house all along, but she didn't know it. It took Elisha's instructions on what to do with what she had to help her experience the potential of the 'little' that was in her possession. If God had opened her eyes to see what He could do with the little she had, she would have never been in distress. I pray that the Almighty God will open your eyes to see the solutions He has put around you, in Jesus' name.

In today's memory verse, the Bible says that the ears that hear and the eyes that see were made by the Lord. This means that a person can be surrounded by prosperity; however, if God doesn't enable that person to see the opportunities He has placed around him or her, such a person can die in poverty. Having eyes that see is more than just having physical eyes. When you have eyes that see, you will see opportunities where others see challenges and abundance where others see scarcity. When God opened Isaac's eyes to see opportunities in the midst of famine, he became so wealthy that the Philistines began to envy him because he had become wealthier than them (Genesis 26:12-16).

Beloved, in order to thrive, you need to have eyes that see. You need to see beyond the ordinary to achieve extraordinary results. Over the next few days, I will share the importance of having seeing eyes and why you should ask the Lord for them. I pray that my Daddy will give you seeing eyes so you will see opportunities where others see obstacles and experience breakthroughs where others experience oppositions, in Jesus' name.

Ev'rything to God in prayer. Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear- All because we do not carry Ev'rything to God in prayer. 

2.  Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged, Take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a Friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our ev'ry weakness, 

Take it to the Lord in prayer. 

3. Are we weak and heavy laden, 

Cumbered with a load of care? 

Precious Saviour, still our refuge, Take it to the Lord in prayer. Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer. In His arms He'll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there.

‎Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire, in Jesus' name I pray.

‎PRAYER POINTS 

‎✓Father, thank You for making me a beneficiary of the gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus. Thank You for where You brought me from in sin and darkness, and for where I am now, in righteousness and in the light of Your kingdom.

‎✓Father, thank You for all that You have committed into my hands as touching my life, family, career and in Your kingdom as a light to the world.

‎

‎✓Father, thank You for my humble beginnings on all areas of my life, thank You because it is in Your plans and power to greatly enlarge and increase my later end.

‎✓Father, no matter how minute the efforts may appear, please help me to be able to do all I need to do, so I won't remain small in my walk with You and in my career, in Jesus' name

‎✓Father, please help me not to delay in every step and action i need to take in order to carry out any assignment You have committed into my hands, even to a good finish, in Jesus' name 

‎✓Father, please help me to keep growing and equipping myself with the right knowledge and skills so I can progressively become a more valuable vessel in Your hands, in Jesus' name.

‎✓Father, You saved me so I can become a channel through which others will be saved from sin and darkness, please help me to start evangelising from my family, friends and my neighbourhood, in Jesus' name.

‎✓Father, it has pleased You to choose me among the very many that You are calling, please help me to overcome my excuses; help me to activate and use all that You have equipped me with, to win souls for You, in Jesus' name

‎✓Father, please do not bypass me for others, use me to win souls into Your kingdom. Please equip me with all that I will need to carry out my divine assignments, in Jesus' name 

‎

‎✓Father, please help me to look beyond my current resources and capacity, help me to launch out to do that which You have called me to do, in Jesus' name.

‎

‎✓Father, please help me to start from where I am, help me to start small and to remain faithful so I can receive from You a "Well done, thou good and faithful servant" on the last day, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, thank You for the life of Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.

Help him to remain faithful and committed to his divine assignments, and to finish well and finish strong, in Jesus' name. Bless his children (biological and spiritual). Help him to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus' name
