PRAYER POINTS

✓Father, thank You because there is nothing too difficult for You to do.

✓Father, thank You for the power of Your word and the name Jesus, that is able to deliver and set free, anyone under satanic stronghold.

✓Father, by the power of Your word and in the name of Jesus Christ,  anything in my life that is negativity affected by satanic manipulation, is hereby restored, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, no matter how terrible the state of any Demon-possessed person around me is, I send forth Your word for their healings and deliverance today, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, no matter the level of attack the devil has planned against me and my loved ones, I declare him a failure now, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, as many as the number of Demon-possessed persons that will be brought to all Your churches, let their deliverance be total, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, because there is nothing impossible for You to do, let every Demon-possessed persons that come my way, receive their healings and perfect restoration, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, in the lives of all Your ministers, as they speak Your word, let it bring healings to every Demon-possessed person and deliverance from their destruction, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, please send Your word into any area of my life that the devil might be operating currently in, and let my deliverance come now, in Jesus' name

✓Father, as many are the number demons in the lives of anyone that will be brought to You please, let them be set free completely, in Jesus' name.

✓Father, send help to Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of his life.

Let Your power be on the increase in his life, to deliver and to set free any Demon-possessed persons that will be brought to him; bless his life, home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus' name.

19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

MESSAGE:

It is a very terrible thing to be possessed by a demon. When demons take possession of a person, everything in his or her life is affected negatively. Demon-possessed people are usually destructive, even to the point of self-destruction, as we see in today's Bible reading. However, no matter how terrible the state of a demon-possessed person is, he or she can be delivered through prayers and by the power in the word of God. All Jesus said were just a few words, and the madman of Gadara was delivered from the legion of demons that had possessed him. There is indeed nothing too difficult for the Lord to handle (Jeremiah 32:27).

The devil does not respect the social, educational, or financial status of his victims, and he also determines, as he pleases, the number of demons that will possess them. For example, the madman in today's Bible reading was possessed by thousands of demons, Mary Magdalene had seven demons (Luke 8:2), and the man in Mark 1:21-23 had only one demon. No matter the level of attack the devil has planned against you and your loved ones, I decree that he has failed, in Jesus' name.

I recall a time in the 80s when people who were possessed with the spirit of madness were often brought to the Redemption Camp (now Redemption City). We would keep them in a small house where we would pray for them until they were delivered. At one time, one of them, whom God had already begun to restore after a few days with us, ran out, screaming, "Help me! These people have brought a madman to live with me." Although this man had not been totally restored, he cried out in fear when he encountered another possessed person who had just been brought into the house. Eventually, both men became free of the devil's hold. No matter the level of demonic possession a person experiences, the Almighty God can set the person free because nothing is impossible for Him to do (Luke 1:37).

There are many instances in the Bible where Jesus set a person free from the devil's affliction by just speaking a word. When He sends His word, healing and deliverance follow. Psalm 107:20 says, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

I pray that God will send His word into any area of your life that the devil might be operating in currently, and you will receive your total deliverance today, in Jesus' name.

No matter the level of demonic possession a fellow might be experiencing, he or she can be delivered through prayers and the power in God's word.

1 Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.

2 And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him.

3 And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.

4 And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

MESSAGE

When a fellow is obsessed, it means that the person's mind has become completely preoccupied with someone or something, such that the fellow loses control of his or her emotions concerning that person or thing. Most cases of obsession are demonically induced and often lead to the destruction of the victim unless God intervenes. For instance, some people are obsessed with food; they can never stop eating. If a believer is in this situation, he or she will be unable to fast and will become an easy target for the enemy.

Some people's obsession is alcohol; they cannot stop drinking. Substance abuse and uncontrollable sexual desires are other forms of obsession. Going by today's Bible reading, we can say that Samson's obsession with women was what destroyed him. Excessive sleeping is another obsession that some people have. The Bible says that if a fellow loves sleeping too much, he or she will end up in poverty (Proverbs 20:13). The devil often turns people's inordinate affections to obsessions aimed at destroying them.

I recall the story of a teacher who had a bicycle. He was so obsessed with his bicycle that whenever he got to a muddy part of the road, he would come down from the bicycle and carry the bicycle across the muddy portion of the road. When a person becomes obsessed with someone or something, the enemy can make that person a slave through that avenue. He will usually make the person fight anyone who attempts to set him or her free. The devil usually targets young people with obsessions because he wants to make them his slaves for life. When teenagers become obsessed with hard drugs, for example, they waste their youthful years on the unprofitable venture. Many of them lose their lives early, while those who manage to grow into adulthood are usually unable to start a fresh life unless God intervenes.

Beloved, flee every inordinate affection. Don't allow the enemy to turn them into an obsession that will suck out your essence and destroy your future. Rather, be obsessed with God and His word. This is what Jesus meant when He said that you should love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). Therefore, spend quality time with God worshipping Him, praying, studying, and meditating on His word daily. This is how to avoid or escape from inordinate affections and demonic obsession. The Lord will keep your mind at rest and bless you abundantly, in Jesus' name.

 OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL 

DATE: MONDAY FEBRUARY 2ND 2026

TOPIC: DEALING WITH DEMONIC VEXATION

MEMORISE:

Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies. - (Nehemiah 9:27)

BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 17:14-18 (KJV)

14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

MESSAGE:

When the devil decides to torture his victims through vexation, he attacks them intermittently with problems that hurt and embarrass them. To achieve this, the devil assigns a demon intermittently with problems that hurt and or demons to operate in the victim's life at regular intervals. In today's Bible reading, Jesus was coming down from the Mount of Transfiguration when a father brought his son to him. The father narrated how a demon came at intervals to cause his son to throw himself into the fire and into the water. The demon wasn't always troubling the boy, but it would come from time to time to push him to harm himself. Some people are perfectly okay in one minute, and in the next minute, they suddenly find themselves in trouble. For example, people with epilepsy are attacked at intervals, and the seizures sometimes come when they are in public places, thus causing them a great deal of embarrassment.

In the 70s, there was a lady in The Redeemed Christian Church of God who had a child who was suffering from the vexation of the enemy. The child had regular seizures, and whenever she rented a new apartment, her son would have one of such attacks. In those days, people believed that such attacks were contagious, and as such, the landlords of the apartments she rented would chase her out of their houses after such incidents. This sister had been moving from one house to the other until one day when, right in the centre of the town she lived in, the child had an attack. What she had been trying to hide became a public thing, and everyone around her at that moment fled. When this happened, she grabbed the child, looked up to the Almighty God and prayed. She said, "Father, my secret is out, and I have no help. Please, arise on my behalf." That was the last day the child had an epileptic attack.

The Lord will always arise for those who call upon Him in truth. Psalm 145:18 says, "The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth." Beloved, have you been experiencing the vexation of the enemy? Has he been coming into your life at intervals to steal, kill, and destroy? Surrender your life to Jesus if you have not done so. Promise Him that you will live according to His will from now on, and call upon Him to deliver you. He will surely rise in your defence.

PRAYER POINTS ON TODAY'S OPEN HEAVENS

DEALING WITH DEMONIC REPRESSION

Special Note.

These prayer points are not written by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, but by one of his, disciples, of Christ, who was inspired and mandated by the Holy Spirit, effective, January 1st, 2015, to start writing these prayer points, based on the Open Heavens Daily Devotional  authored by Pastor E. A. Adeboye.

“Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire. In Jesus' name, I pray.”

PRAYER POINTS

1.Father, thank You for seeing me through the first month of the year, thank You for Your mercy that carried me into the new month for a new beginning

2.Father, thank You because I am free from satanic oppression; thank You because I will not suffer any form of repression again, in Jesus' name. 

3.Father, please don't let me take Your mercy for granted. Help me never to offend You again. Please, preserve the fruits of my labour from the repression of the devil, in Jesus name.

4.Father, You are the Almighty, please deliver me from the grip of the mighty, and set me free from the hand of the terrible one, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, please contend with those that contend with me, and save my children from the hand of the wicked. Please Lord, build a wall of defense around the fruits of my labour and the fruits of my body, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please put an end to any form of repression in my life, and destroy anything that is attacking the fruits of my past and present labours, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please terminate every form of repression in my life. Don't let me sowr for the enemies to harvest, help me to eat the fruits of my labour and be satisfied, in Jesus name.

8.Father, whether it is my fault or not that the enemy has been pushing me down, I declare this is my year of jubilee, I shall be free, and free indeed, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please let Your fire destroy any form of repression that might be in my life, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, please let me begin to move from glory to glory, and from success to success, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, send help to Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of his life.

May he never suffer any form of repression from the devil at any point of his life and ministry; bless his life, home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus name.

12.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus name.

13.Father, please let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus name.
