PRAYER POINTS

1.Father, I praise You for You are the God of all knowledge, and nothing is hidden before You; You know my ending even before my beginning. Thank You for the end of the first half of the year.

2.Father, You are the prayer-answering God and there is no doubt that nothing is impossible with You. You are the true source of all blessings and there is no error with You.

3.Father, thank You for Your blessings in my life; please, bless me more Lord, and give me the wisdom to effectively manage the people and resources put in my care, in Jesus' name.

4.Father, please, bless me abundantly, that the propagation of the gospel will prosper in my hands. Make me a blessing to nations of the world, and help me to expand my capacity to accommodate these blessings,  in Jesus' name.

5.Father, help me to go through the process to prepare me for the purpose and vision You have for my life, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please, fill me with divine wisdom, so I can make the right decision at each point of my life whenever I need to, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, if I am going about the fulfilment of my purpose in a wrong way, please, withdraw me from such wrong path, and help me to learn patience and wisdom, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please, as I submit to Your process, help me build my capacity to handle Your blessings in my life, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please, help me eliminate any weaknesses that can hinder me from fulfilling Your vision for my life, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, please, in this second half of the year, enlarge my capacity to be disciplined and to effectively handle the blessings I am asking You for, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, send help to Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of his life.

Enlarge his capacity to fulfill Your purpose for his life in all areas; bless his home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus' name.

12.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.

13.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: ACCORDING TO YOUR CAPACITY 1

MEMORISE:

"Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all." - (Galatians 4:1)

1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

MESSAGE:

Many people ask God for blessings; however, if God answers many of them at the time of their requests, the miracles may destroy them. For example, a responsible father, even if he is a billionaire, will decline the request of his four-year-old son to drive one of his cars because the boy cannot handle a car at such a young age. Similarly, God only gives His children blessings they can handle and blessings that wouldn’t destroy them. Beloved, you must expand your capacity so you can accommodate the blessings you are asking God for. If a believer wants to be the president of a nation but cannot effectively manage the people and resources within a department as the Head of Department, the fellow will be a disaster waiting to happen if he or she becomes the nation's president at that moment. As a president, there are greater consequences for mismanagement; therefore, to save such a believer from them, God will not allow him or her to become the president at that moment.

When God calls people and shows them His vision for their lives, He always takes them through a process to prepare them for the vision He has shown them. When God showed Joseph that he would become a leader (Genesis 37:5-10), He took him through 13 years of training to prepare him. In those years, Joseph found himself in different leadership positions that prepared him for the place God was taking him to (Genesis 39:1-4,21-23). If he had become the leader of Egypt immediately after he had his dreams, he would have been inexperienced and incapable of making the wise decisions he made.

At 40, Moses knew what God wanted him to do, but because he had not developed the capacity to execute his assignment, he went about it the wrong way (Exodus 2:11-15). God had to withdraw him from Egypt and redeploy him into the wilderness to learn patience and wisdom as he took care of his father-in-law's sheep (Exodus 3:1). Likewise, David started as a shepherd boy and went through God's preparation process for 13 years after Samuel anointed him as Israel's king.

Beloved, train yourself to be the kind of person who can handle the blessings you are asking God for. Submit to God's process, and allow Him to help you build your capacity and eliminate the weaknesses that can hinder you from fulfilling His vision for your life.

Do you have the capacity to handle the blessings you are asking God for?

TOPIC: PURPOSE

MEMORISE:

“For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption.” - (Acts 13:36)

READ: ISAIAH 46:10-11 (KJV)

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

MESSAGE:

Before you were born, there was a specific task that God had earmarked for you as an individual. Jeremiah 1:5 made this clear:

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

God placed you in the family you were born into for a purpose. He put you where you can fulfil His original purpose for your life. I pray that God will speak to you concerning your purpose and why He has put you in the family you were born into.

Everyone has a specific purpose for which they were born into a family, state, and country. For example, in Exodus 3:1-12, God specifically told Moses, "Your purpose is to bring my people out of Egypt to come and worship me on this mountain." In Joshua 1:1-8, God told Joshua that it was his assignment to divide the land among His people. In (1 Kings 19:19-21), He let Elisha know, "What you have been doing thus far is farming, and you are doing well, but the work I have for you is to be my prophet."

When you stop focusing on money and you begin to do what God put you on the earth to do, you will not only get money, but you will also get much more than that. When Elisha took an early retirement from farming and became a prophet, the result was found in (2 Kings 4:12-13). He became so influential that he could say to the Shunammite woman, "Do you want me to talk to the king or the commander-in-chief for you? Whom do you want me to talk to for you?" You must trust God that He will not put you in this world to suffer. Once you have discovered His purpose for your life, start walking in it because that is how you can find fulfilment and all-round joy. He said in Jeremiah 29:11:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

It is God's will that you should know His specific purpose for your life and walk in it. If you are yet to know His purpose for your life, go before Him in prayers today and ask Him. He will reveal it to you and give you the grace to walk in it, in Jesus' name.

8 And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.

9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.

10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.

11 And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there.

12 And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him.

13 And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.

22 And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again.

24 Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee.

29 Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child.

30 And the mother of the child said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

31 And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

32 And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed.

33 He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the Lord.

34 And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.

35 Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

36 And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.

37 Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out.

MESSAGE

In today's Bible reading, the Shunamite woman sowed into Elisha's life continuously until he was inspired to find out what he could give her in return. Eventually, she got a blessing that transformed her life. I learnt from this story that if you bless a genuine man of God, you have entered into a covenant partnership with God, and you won't have to pray about some of your needs before God meets them.

We have a group in RCCG called Covenant Partners. These are people who quietly lift up my hands financially. I meet with them once every year, and at one particular meeting, I was led by the Holy Spirit to say, "Those of you who have been lifting up my hands, if there is any of you in debt, God will pay your debt." One man among them shouted "Amen" loudly. He was about 50 years old and was heavily in debt. The following week, the bank that he owed called him to meet the Managing Director. The MD asked him, "Sir, how are you going to pay off this debt? Give us a plan so we know what to work with." He looked at the MD and said, "Even if I pay you a million naira for every day that I have lived, I can't finish paying this debt." To his surprise, the bank later informed him that the loan had been written off. I pray that my Father, who owns the cattle upon a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), will do exceedingly abundantly above your wildest imaginations, in Jesus' name.

Abraham understood covenant partnership with God. After he went to war against the five kings who fought against Sodom and Gomorrah and conquered them, he gave Melchizedek, the priest of the Most High God, the tithes of all (Genesis 14:18-20). This covenant partnership shifted Abraham into an unprecedented realm of abundance such that when he was old, the Bible said God had blessed him in all things (Genesis 24:1). Joshua's service to Moses positioned him as God's choice to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land (Exodus 33:11, Joshua 1:1-2). Also, Elisha's service to Elijah made him a candidate for a double portion of the anointing (2 Kings 2:1-15).

Beloved, God wants you to come into a covenant partnership with Him through the genuine spiritual leaders He has placed over you. Honour them by giving to them and supporting them, and like the great woman of Shunem, God will meet your needs even before you ask Him.

Commit to blessing a genuine minister of God and meeting some needs in your local assembly today.

COMMANDING YOUR MIRACLE 

Special Note.

These prayer points are not written by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, but by one of his disciples of Christ, who was inspired and  mandated by the Holy Spirit, effective, January 1st, 2015, to start writing these prayer points, based on the Open Heavens Daily Devotional  authored by Pastor E. A. Adeboye.

Some of the prayer points are deep spiritually and may not be understood by carnal minds.

If you want to be blessed from these prayer points, you must first, surrender Your life, to the Lord Jesus Christ, Himself, by saying this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire, in Jesus' name I pray.

PRAYER POINTS

1.Father, I worship You for You are the miracle working God, calling forth light out of darkness and  bringing something out of nothing.

2.Father, with You,all things are possible and there is no challenge You don't have a solution to.

3.Father, please, turn every 'not yet' to 'now' in my life and family, in Jesus' name.

4.Father, please put an end to every pain and sorrow I'm known with today, and turn my situation around for good, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, please, bless me indeed and enlarge my coast; let Your hand be upon me and keep me from all evil, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please let all I have long waited for, come speedily, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please, empower me to be fervent in the place of prayers and to be persistent until my prayers are answered, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please, help me never to be weary in the place of waiting on You in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please, as I wait on You, help me not to be tired or give up too soon. Help me to heed to the instructions of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, please in this season and time, let my miracle appear that the people may know that You are the miracle working God, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, send help to Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of his life.

Help him to remain fervent and committed to doing your will; bless his life, home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus' name.

12.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.

13.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus' name.

14.Your Personal petitions.
