PRAYER POINTS

1.Father, thank You for the gift of the Holy Ghost from the day of Pentecost. Thank You for the release of Your power to witness to the uttermost part of the earth.

2.Father, thank you for the events of the day of Pentecost that had helped in defining Christianity forever.

3.Father, please, let there be a repeat of the experience of the day of Pentecost in our churches, in Jesus' name.

4.Father, please, separate us from the rest of the world, and help us to dwell in one accord. Help us to yearn to go deeper in You, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, please, help me not to be engrossed in the pursuit of material things at the expense of yearning for a deeper walk with You, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please, help me not to be focused on worldly things but to behold Your word so I can become like You in all areas, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please, help all Your disciples not to be distracted by mundane things, let our eyes be filled with the light from Your word, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please, let our desire be to wait for the promise and manifestations of the power of the Holy Spirit wholeheartedly, in Jesus' name.

9.‭Father, please, help me to separate myself from sin and distraction, and to seek You with all my heart and soul, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, open my ears to hear Your word continuously that my life may be impacted for Your glory, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, send help to Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of life.

Let him remain a vessel unto honour in Your hands; bless his ministry, home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to continue to produce sons and daughters to Your glory, in Jesus' name.

12.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.

13.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus' name.

DATE: TUESDAY APRIL 1ST 2025

TOPIC: LIKE THE DAY OF PENTECOST I

MEMORISE:

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." - (Acts 1:8)

READ: ACTS 1:12-14 (KJV)

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

MESSAGE:

The first time the Holy Ghost came to dwell in man was on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1-12. Jesus had told His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they received the Holy Ghost (Luke 24:49). The day of Pentecost and the events that followed defined Christianity forever. If only there could be a repeat of that day in churches all over the world; oh, what a revival that will be. There was a similar experience in Azusa, USA, in 1906, and up until today, people are still talking about that revival. For the next few days, I will be examining what happened on the day of Pentecost and the implications of the events of that day.

One major thing you must note is that the disciples were in an upper room - they were separated from the rest of the world. While everyone around them was enjoying the Passover feast, they were in a different realm, praying, fasting, and yearning to go deeper in the Lord. If we are to experience a repeat of that day, Christians must learn to live separately from the world (2 Corinthians 6:14).

You cannot be engrossed in the pursuit of material things like the rest of the world and expect the Holy Spirit to descend on you and manifest through you as He did on the day of Pentecost. You cannot expect to carry the power of the Holy Ghost when your eyes are focused on worldly things. What you behold is what you will eventually become (2 Corinthians 3:18). You cannot love the world and claim to also love God (1 John 2:15). You cannot keep listening to worldly music and expect to be filled with the Holy Spirit. What you listen to greatly impacts your life, and faith comes by hearing God's word (Romans 10:17).

In the upper room, the disciples were not distracted by mundane things. Their eyes, representing their focus, were single, causing them to be filled with light (Matthew 6:22). Their desire was to wait for the promise of the Father, and they did this wholeheartedly. To receive and manifest the Holy Spirit's power, you must seek God wholeheartedly.

Only those who seek God with all their hearts and souls find Him (Deuteronomy 4:29). Only those who separate themselves from sin and distractions will receive the Holy Spirit's power, like on the day of Pentecost. Beloved, God wants you to be separate because you are His (2 Corinthians 6:17) and not of this world (John 15:19). 

 ACTION POINT:

Let go of distractions and everything that can keep you from being filled with the Holy Spirit.

6.Father, please, use even the unbelievers around me to fulfill Your purpose in my life, and please do not abandon them, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please, go ahead of me and make straight the crooked places, even if You have to use the unbelievers, in Jesus' name.

9.‭Father, please, give me the treasures of darkness, and the hidden riches of secret places, that the people may know that You are the LORD, the God of Israel, that calls by name, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, I choose to be Your vessel, use me to do Your will for the rest of my life, in Jesus' name.

“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.” - (2 Timothy 2:20)

1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.

4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.

8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.

9 And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,

10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.

11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.

MESSAGE:

Today's memory verse tells us that there are vessels unto honour and unto dishonour in a great man's house. God will always find something to use people for; He will use His children as vessels unto honour, while those who refuse to live a holy life will be used as vessels unto dishonour.

One day, while driving to church to minister to some sick people, I got stuck in a terrible traffic jam. After a while, I noticed a side of the road that was free of traffic, and I moved my car there. Unknown to me, there was a rule that vehicles could only drive on that side of the road after 10am, and that was why it was free. Some policemen stopped my car and said, "Don't you know that you can only pass here from 10am?" I told them I didn't know and that I was sorry. I explained that I am a pastor, and I was hurrying to go and pray for the sick. They said, "Well, you know what to do." I knew they were expecting a bribe, but as a child of God, I couldn't do it. Therefore, they said, "You will wait here until 10am before we let you go." As I waited, some street boys who were some distance away recognised me, and one of them said, "That is Daddy Adeboye. It seems the policemen are harassing him; let's go and help him." When the policemen saw them approaching, they left me and hurried away. In that situation, God used the street boys to threaten the policemen into letting me go.

When God wanted to free His people from Babylon, He used Cyrus, an unbelieving ruler. Long before his birth, Isaiah had prophesied about him and the part he would play in the freedom of God's people (Isaiah 44:28, Isaiah 45:1-5). God can use unbelievers to do His will; however, such unbelievers will still end up in hell if they do not surrender to Christ, as all sinners will end up in hell.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18)

Beloved, surrender your life to Christ if you are not yet born again and begin to live a holy life so that God can use you as a vessel unto honour and not unto dishonour. 

 KEY POINT:

God will always use people for His will. However, they can choose to either be vessels unto honour or vessels unto dishonour.

10.Father, please, bless all married women seeking Your face for fruits of the womb. By this time next year, let them be carrying their babies, in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: THE BLESSING CALLED 'MOTHER'

MEMORISE:

“The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.” - (Judges 5:7)

READ: PROVERBS 1:8-9 (KJV)

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

MESSAGE:

Typically, children tend to respect and even fear their fathers more than their mothers because men are generally considered stronger and sterner. A mother may not be as physically strong as a father, but she has immense strength in other areas. I usually say that I am where I am today because of God's grace and my mother's prayers. Whenever I did something that impressed her, she would say, "You will call one fellow, and 100 will answer." What she meant was, 'You will be very influential.' Today, God has blessed me with great influence over many people across the world. When a mother is happy with a child, whatever she deeply desires and prays over the child will come to pass.

Beloved, Ephesians 6:2-3 instructs you to honour your father and mother (not just your father alone) so that you can enjoy tremendous blessings. These days, many children don't even pick up their parents' calls. If you have parents, you must be intentional about honouring them because it is a prerequisite for God's blessings and long life.

When I was younger, my mother would instruct me to stay back at home to study while other children in the neighbourhood were out playing. Thank God I obeyed her. Studying my books helped me to ignore many distractions and achieve great things in life. In appreciation, I took good care of her before she passed away. I made sure that I saw her at least once every two weeks so that she wouldn't miss me so much. If your mother is still alive, or if you have mother figures in your life, ensure that you always honour them by being obedient and caring towards them.

If you are a mother, your role in deciding your children's future is very important. You must ensure that they are disciplined and focused on fulfilling God's will for their lives. Don't pamper them; train them diligently. Don't prioritise making money or partying over spending quality time with them. Also, be willing to make sacrifices to help them grow up in wisdom, strength, and the way of the Lord. I pray that God will bless all mothers with the strength and courage to nurture their children the right way. If you're married and are seeking God's face for the fruit of the womb, I decree that by this time next year, you will be carrying your baby, in Jesus' name. 

 ACTION POINT:

Get a special gift for your mother or the mother figure in your life today in celebration of Mother's Day.

8.Father, I destroy and I throw down every evil force in the heart of men hindering the salvation of their souls through the gospel, in Jesus' name.

9.‭Father, please, put forth Your hand and touch my mouth, that Your word will bring forth deliverance onto men, in Jesus' name.
