PRAYER POINTS 

1.Father, thank You for fighting my battles for me, thank You for being my shield and my fortress from the challenges of life.

2.Father, thank You for the glorious future ahead of me. Thank You because You are able to carry me into the promised land, in Jesus' name.

3.Father, please, help me to identify whatever that is obstructing my access to Your promises for my life, in Jesus' name.

4.Father, please, give me the strategies to overcome every hindrance to my progress; and help me not to fight the wrong battles, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, because You are bigger than the biggest, Arise O Lord, against evil forces blocking my way to success in my  endeavours in life, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, I condemn every tongue risen against me and my family, and I declare destruction upon every weapon formed against me, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please, empower me to persist in the place of prayers until I see the desired positive changes in my life and family, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please, open my spiritual ears to receive divine instructions for total victory over the battles around me, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please, I decree, let the forces of darkness tremble before me, and let their weapons of war turn against themselves, in Jesus' name.

10.‭Father, henceforth, let no wall be able to stand in my way of progress this year; let every evil wall limiting the progress of my nation, fall, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, I speak to every force standing in my way of progress; disappear now, in Jesus' name.

12.Father, thank You for helping Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of life.

Let every force and wall standing in his way, disappear now; bless his ministry, home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help him to remain a shining light forever, in Jesus' name.

13.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.

14.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus' name.

TOPIC:  IDENTIFYING THE JERICHO WALL 1. 

MEMORISE: 

Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; which turneth the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters. Psalm 114:7-8. 

READ: Joshua 6:1-20 (KJV). 

1 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

2 And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

3 And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

5 And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before Him. 

6 And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord.

7 And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the Lord.

8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the Lord, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them.

9 And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

11 So the ark of the Lord compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord.

13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the Lord, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

14 And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city.

17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the Lord: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.

20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

MESSAGE:

In today’s Bible reading, the children of Israel were close to the promised land, but a mighty wall stood in their way. Joshua knew that their progress would be affected by the wall, and God gave him the strategy to bring the wall down and lead His people into what He had prepared for them.

When it feels like something is obstructing your access to God’s promises, you first need to identify exactly what it is so you can ask God for the strategy to overcome what is hindering your progress. If you have not identified what is stopping your progress, you may be fighting the wrong battles while the actual enemy remains unchallenged

In many cases, the forces of darkness are the wall of Jericho that hinders the progress of people since the devil’s only job is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). If you notice that something bigger than you is blocking your way when you are about to succeed in an endeavour, you need to pray against that force.

The good news is, Isaiah 54:17 says: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Beloved, if you are a child of God and you’re serving Him diligently, you have the legal right to condemn whatever forces that may arise against you.

Some of these evil forces are stubborn and will not stop if you tell them to go just once. Hence, you need to pray and fast persistently before they go. 

Jesus said in Mark 9:29 that some demons cannot be overcome except by prayer and fasting.

If you have done all these and you still cannot see any change, you probably need to find someone who can join you in prayers so you can engage the prayer of agreement.

Deuteronomy 32:30 says: How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?

You can also ask a minister of God with higher authority to pray for you. After taking these steps, there is no force that can stand in your way.

 OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TOPIC: GOD TESTS

MEMORISE:

“Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing as unto a faithful Creator.” - (1 Peter 4:19)

READ: GENESIS 22:1-12 (KJV)

1  And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.

2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.

4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.

5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.

6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

MESSAGE:

God is a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24); He never wants anything to take His place in your heart. God wants you to love Him wholeheartedly (Luke 10:25-28), and at different times, He will test you to see if you really love Him as you should. Your response in those moments will show whether you truly love Him or not. The tests may hurt or excite you, but you must not feel so hurt that you deny Christ or become so excited that you forget Him. You must keep Him as your only focus at all times.

If God decides to test you, He might take you through a painful experience to see if it will cause you to deny Him as He did with Job (Job 1). On the other hand, He may decide to bless you with something big to see your reaction. If you are still obedient and submissive to Him afterwards, He will then give you more.

Years ago, during one of our services, God told me to announce that three breakthroughs were coming for someone. The first was to be given to Him, the second was to be shared equally between Him and the fellow, and the third was for the fellow concerned. After a few weeks, a widow came to me, saying that she had brought the proceeds of the first breakthrough. I knew she was struggling because her husband owed the bank a lot of money before he died, which she had to repay. Therefore, I told her that the prophecy may not have been for her. She insisted, so I collected the money from her and kept it aside just in case she came back for it. Not long after, the bank called her to apologise, saying that they were the ones owing her husband a lot of money, which they paid her. God tested her with a little breakthrough, and when she passed the test, He brought something big her way.

Now, you need to note that God will never allow you to be tested beyond what you can handle, and with every test, He supplies the grace that is required to pass it (1 Corinthians 10:13). To pass God's test, you must use the grace that He supplies to you. May you not fail when your love for God is tested, in Jesus' name. 

 PRAYER POINT:

TOPIC: ATTRACT GOD'S BLESSINGS

MEMORISE:

“Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.” - (Romans 4:7)

READ: PSALM 112:1-10 (KJV)

1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

MESSAGE:

Yesterday, I explained how dangerous a curse from God can be and how you must avoid it. Just as a curse from God is powerful, a blessing from God is also extremely powerful. The best thing that can happen to anyone is for God to bless him or her. When God blesses you, every force in heaven, on earth, and underneath the earth will work to favour you. Also, there will be no sorrow added to the blessing (Proverbs 10:22).

There are several passages in the Scriptures that talk about the blessings of God and how you can attract them. Unfortunately, many Christians just read about the blessings and claim them without paying attention to what to do to attract them. Owing to my training in mathematics, whenever I see a blessing in the Bible, I always want to know what the condition of getting that blessing is. I know that if the conditions are not right, no matter how hard I try, I will not get the desired result. Therefore, I always pay more attention to the conditions needed for God's blessings than the blessings themselves.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 is filled with many blessings that God has promised us. However, when you study that Bible passage closely, you will see that the condition to getting the blessings is that you hearken diligently to the word of God. If God looks at you and sees no sin, you are already blessed.

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. (Romans 4:8)

To attract God's blessings, you must live a holy life. You cannot continue going against God's word and expect Him to keep blessing you. When you start living a holy life, you will discover the real meaning of God's blessings. I thought I was successful before I met Christ; I was a young lecturer at the university, growing steadily in my career. However, no matter how much my salary was, by the middle of the next month, I would be borrowing money from my driver to fuel my car. Then, I met Christ and started living a holy life. He blessed me, and all of a sudden, the same salary that wasn't usually sufficient became enough to cater for my needs.

Beloved, start living a holy life from today, and you will see the real meaning of being blessed. 

 KEY POINT:

To attract the blessings of God, live a holy life.

You Must Avoid Curses II

Special Note.

These prayer points are not written by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, but by one of his, disciples, of Christ, who was inspired and mandated by the Holy Spirit, effective, January 1st, 2015, to start writing these prayer points, based on the Open Heavens Daily Devotional  authored by Pastor E. A. Adeboye.

“Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire. In Jesus' name, I pray.”

PRAYER POINTS

1.Thank You Jesus for redeeming us from the curse of the law and delivering me from the curse of sin through my adoption from slavery to sonship through salvation.

2.Father, please, help me to be wise, help me to do everything possible to avoid Your anger, in Jesus' name.

3.Father, please, help me to do everything possible to earn Your divine blessings rather than curses, in Jesus' name.

4.Father, please, help me to make it to the millennial reign of Christ that I may partake in robust harvest without limit, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, please, help me to stay away from anything that You forbid or that which will attract a curse from You, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, please, help me to carry out all the divine instructions in Your word against every devilish doctrine and false teachings by false teachers and prophets, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please, help me to live a life of total obedience to Your commandments and principles, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, please, make me Yours only so I can enjoy Your irreversible blessings, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please, have mercy on me , and reverse every curse on me; in the multitude of Your mercy, please, replace every irreversible curse on me with irreversible blessings, in Jesus' name.

10.‭Father, please, restore me to righteousness and help me to begin to enjoy the Abrahamic blessings henceforth, in Jesus name.

11.Father, You said no family curses will be heard again in Your church; please, if there is any curse still operating in my destiny and my family,  I decree that it will be broken now, in Jesus' name.

12.Father, thank You for helping Your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in all areas of life.

Help him to grow daily in wisdom by the help of the Holy Spirit; bless his ministry, home, and family (biological and spiritual), and help them to remain a shining light forever, in Jesus name.

13.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus name.

14.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus name.

15.Your Personal petitions.
