4.Father, let the purpose of my election and ordination, which is to bring forth fruits into Your vineyard, be accomplished in my life, in Jesus' name.

5.Father, empower me by Your grace to be fruitful and  to multiply in Your vineyard, and let my fruits abide, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, let Your promise to answer all my prayers and give me anything that I ask for, be fulfilled in my life, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please, make a passionate, committed and an unrepentant soul winner, in Your vineyard, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, do not allow any opportunity  You bring to me, to win souls, pass me by, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, give me the grace to follow up on souls won, to ensure they are firmly established and rooted in Christ, and that they make heaven, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, bless your son, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye; and, bless his ministry, home, and family (biological and spiritual), forever, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, bless Your son that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.

12.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus' name.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 

John 15:16

READ: Matthew 28:18 -20

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

MESSAGE 

We will consider another benefit of witnessing today and this will be drawn from our memory Verse taken from John 15:16:

Ye have not chosen me, but l have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

All your prayers will be answered if you are a soul winner! Imagine owning a business, and having a son who keeps bringing in new customers to help expand that business; is there any amount that the boy would ask from you that would be too big? In fact, you are likely to buy him a car before he even asks. That is exactly how God feels about people who win souls for Him. The Bible says there is always joy in heaven whenever a sinner repents (Luke 15:7).

God is so passionate about mankind that He throws a party anytime someone crosses from darkness into His marvelous light, He is so excited that He throws a party in heaven for each soul that is saved. Imagine then how He would feel about the fellow who preached to that soul. You can be sure that even though the fellow is not in Heaven to partake of the feast, God would send his own portion of the goodies to Him on earth and such person would be very dear to God. That is why if you are a committed soul winner, all your prayers would be answered speedily.

I want you to take note however that in John 15:15, He said if the person wins souls and the soul remain, in other words, if you follow up the new converts until they attain full maturity in Christ, then all your prayers would be answered.

It is not enough to just preach, lead people to Christ and forget them; you must follow them up with phone calls, Bible study meetings and so on to ensure that they don't go back to the world. You must keep them in your prayers always to ensure that you are shielding them from the tricks of the devil to take them back to the world. If you do these, then there is nothing you ask from God that He will not give to you.

ACTION POINT 

Preach the gospel and follow up with new converts to ensure they do not return to the world.

MESSAGE 

There are several benefits to gain from telling people about Jesus Christ. May be if you knew the benefits, you would preach the gospel some more. Today, we will discuss just one of the numerous benefits of sharing the gospel of Christ and this is found in our Bible reading for today:

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Daniel 12:3 

You will become a star when you preach Christ's gospel. For example, the more people you bring to the Almighty God, the more children in the Lord you will have. I am yet to see someone who was not grateful to the person who preached to and led him or her from the path of hell. Even today, l bless God for the man who brought me to The Redeemed Christian Church of God where I met Christ. If not for him who obeyed the instruction of the Lord to witness, only God knows how miserable my life would have become now.

I say it boldly anywhere that l am the richest man in the world. I am the richest man in the world because there is no city in the whole world where l don't have a house. You ask me how? Well, there is no city l get to today where l would need accommodation and not get a house to sleep in because l have children in the Lord who would be struggling to host me in their homes the moment they hear l am around. It is not because l have any money to give them, but simply that l led them to Christ and helped them grow closer to Him. The more people you lead to Christ, the more celebrated you would be; you would indeed become a star.

Winning soul is the Father's business. If you go about the Father's business and do your part to make it prosper, He would say thank you to you by making you a star. You would drive cars you didn't buy, live in houses you didn't build and become so respected that when you speak people will pay attention.

ACTION POINT 

Commit to spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THEME: WHO DO YOU BELONG TO?

MEMORISE: 

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

1 John 3:10

READ: 1 John 3:8 -10

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

MESSAGE 

Many people claim to be God's children however, it is only those who truly follow in the footsteps of Jesus that are genuinely His children. 1 John 3:10 further confirms that those who do righteousness are God's children while those who follow evil belong to the devil.

Anyone who is not living in righteousness is not a child of God. A fellow who is not bearing the fruit of God will bear that of Satan. How can you continue to tell lies and still think you are a child of God? How can you change figures in the office, with the claim that you are ‘borrowing' and will pay back? The act, of course, is stealing because you are taking what is not yours without permission. The Bible says in John 8:44:

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do, He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Beloved, please take time to think about this. If you are not living a righteous life, you should not bother calling yourself a child of God at all. In any case, Jesus Christ said in John 19:26:

My sheep hear my voice, and l know them, and they follow me:

You can deceive everyone now, but when judgment comes, you would not be able to deceive God because He knows His own. Jesus said He will send way all those who call Him Lord and even perform miracles in His name but still live a sinful life (Matthew 7:21-23).

On that day, you will be sent to the one who you really belong to, depending on who you behave like - whether it is Christ or the devil.

On the side of Christ, it is paradise, and on the side of the devil, it is the lake of fire and torment. You make the choice now with whose behaviour you emulate.

REFLECTION
