2.Father, You're the Unchanging Changer; You're the same yesterday, today and forever.

3.Father, You're the Creator of heaven and the earth; and from eternity to eternity, You're still the same.

4.Thank You, Father, for all Your promises are yea and amen, because there is no shadow of turning with You.

5.Father, in anyway I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me, in Jesus' name.

6.Father, I plead the blood of Jesus over my spirit, soul and body; let the blood of Jesus cleanse me from all unrighteousness and break every yoke of delay in my life and destiny, in Jesus' name.

7.Father, please, give me the grace to hold on to all Your promises for my life, and never succumb to doubts, in Jesus' name.

8.Father, come and fulfill all Your promises for my life, please, do not allow my expectations in You to be cut short, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please, perfect everything concerning me, and empower me by Your grace to fulfill my destiny, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, bless your son, Pastor E.A.Adeboye, please, empower him to finish well and strong, in Jesus' name.

11.Father, bless Your son, that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.

MEMORISE:

 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

MESSAGE:

Unlike everything and everyone else that grows old with age, God is the same forever; He doesn’t age. He will not grow older tomorrow, neither will he become weaker next year. He doesn’t even dwell in time, He dwells in eternity. Hebrews 13:8 says:

“ Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

He does not change. Though Jesus came into this world through the virgin Mary about two thousand years after Abraham was born, yet He said in John 8:58:

“……Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”

He laid the foundation of the world and made the Heavens. This means He has been in existence before the earth and the Heavens were created and will still be after everything and everyone is gone (Psalm 102:25-27).

The never changing nature of God gives us the assurance that all His promises concerning us are yea and amen. It doesn’t matter how long-ago God made a promise to you; just hold on to it. He will bring it to pass.

For a long time after I became the General Overseer of the RCCG, I continued to remember the promises of God that he made to me. One of them was that I would lead a mighty end-time army in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. At the time, anyone could have doubted the fulfilment of the dream because the Church was not growing. thank God I held on to the promises; today, they are being fulfilled one after the other.

Hold on to God’s word concerning you. It may appear time is running out, but never give room to doubt. It will not tarry, His time is not yours.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3

KEY POINT:

God does not change and He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). Rest assured, He will fulfil all His promises to you, in the mighty name of Jesus.

1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

MESSAGE:

Who you look to will determine how far you go in life. It can be a distraction sometimes to be surrounded by people who you think can help you as it would become hard for you to look to God for everything you need. What can man give to you? Can man keep you alive? Man cannot even heal himself. If he gives you money, can he give you prosperity? Rather than run after men, spend time chasing God. God can turn your life and that of your generation around forever. You don’t need an appointment to see God; He is everything and willing to help you.

A life that looks to Jesus is a life of peace. Joy and love. A person who looks to Jesus would not depend on any man to live; his future is secured in Jesus Christ.

The Christian faith is a race and we cannot finish the race without the help of God. Our confidence in succeeding in this race is placed in Jesus Christ! We are encouraged to look unto Him and Him alone. Turn away from your past- failures, successes, sins and so on, and look unto Jesus Christ. We look to Christ because of who He is, what He did and where He reigns.

Who is He? He is the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus knows everything about our earthly race. Indeed, He ran His in faith because He is the author and the finisher of our faith. He is the perfect example to follow.

When we look p to Jesus; He will perfect what He began in us. Those who look unto God cannot be put to shame. You cannot trust in God and be put to shame.

“The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.”

Psalms 21:1-2

Never look unto man; look to Jesus alone, He is higher than the highest. He is a very present help when you are faced with life’s challenges (Psalm 46:1).

ACTION POINT:

Never shift your gaze off Jesus no matter what comes your way.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

READ: Genesis 15:1-6

1After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

2 And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

MESSAGE:

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:5

Fear is a product of thoughts and imaginations the devil whispers to us. To defeat fear, you must cast down all such imaginations.

Anything that does not align with God’s word should not be allowed into your heart. For example, when the devil whispers “You will soon die”, cast down that thought by saying “I shall not die but live to declare the glory of the Lord” (Psalm 118:17). If he says you will fail, cast it down by saying “The Lord shall make me the head and not the tail. I shall be above only and not beneath….” (Deuteronomy 28:13). Don’t let the devil tell you what God has not said about you; always use the Scriptures as a weapon. That is what Jesus did (Matthew 4:1-11).

Ephesians 6 says the enemy will throw fiery darts (arrows of fire) at us, but the shield of faith will protect us and ensure they don’t touch us.

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians 6:16

The devil sends fiery arrows in the form of fear to piece and weaken us. Once fear is allowed into the believer’s life, he/she becomes weak and unable to fight. This is why every believer needs the shield of faith to ward off the enemies and their attacks. Remember, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Usually, when people in distress go to God, the first thing He says is “fear not”. This is because He knows that once fear is gone, the battle is as good as won.

I say to you today: it does not matter what the devil has told you; fear not, you will win this battle in the mighty name of Jesus.

KEY POINT:

As Jesus did in Matthew 4:1-11, always reply the devil with the word of God.

8.Father, whenever the temptation comes, for me to compromise my faith, please, quickly make a way of escape for me, in Jesus' name.

9.Father, please, give me the grace to always look beyond my challenges, unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of my faith, in Jesus' name.

10.Father, bless your son, Pastor E.A.Adeboye, and reward him abundantly, for all his labours of love, in Your vineyard, in Jesus' name.
