Beware Of Strange Fire!

“Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire. In Jesus' name, I pray.”
Prayer Points:
1.I worship and adore, You, my Father; You're the consuming fire, and the fourth man, in the fire.
2.Father, in anyway I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me, in Jesus' name.
3.Father, let me never offer or pollute Your altar with strange fire; and, let every attempt of the enemy to quench the fire of Your Spirit in my life, be frustrated, in Jesus' name.
4.Father, incubate my life with Your fire; let my life become too hot for the enemies to handle, in Jesus' name.
5.Father, let every insulator, hindering the free flow of Your fire in my life, be consumed by Your fire, in Jesus' name.
6.Father, let Your fire fall upon me, and let every satanic deposit in my life be consumed; make me coals of fire, in the hands of my enemies, in Jesus' name.
7.Father, let every strange fire kindled or targeted against me by the enemies, go back and consume the enemies, in Jesus' name.
8.Father, release upon my life, fresh fire from above; and empower me to do supernatural exploits for You and Your kingdom, in Jesus' name.
9.Father, rekindle the fire of Your revival in my life, and, in the body of Christ, in Jesus' name.
10.Father, bless your son, Pastor E.A.Adeboye; and, release upon his life, fresh oil and fire, from above, in Jesus' name.
11.Father, bless Your son, that You have been using to prepare these prayer points, beyond measures, and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, in Jesus' name.
12.Father, let every challenge, hindrance and obstacle of getting these prayer points across to Your children, timely, and on daily basis be removed, in Jesus' name.

8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
MESSAGE
In the physical realm, there are different types of fire used for varying constructive or destructive purpose.
This is also true in the spiritual realm where fire could be godly or ungodly, constructive or destructive. The Holy Spirit is the source of godly fire.
Samson tearing a lion apart in Judges 14:5-6 is a classic example of what you can do when the Spirit kindles godly fire inside you. When He kindles fire in you, supernatural power comes and you are able to overcome your enemies. On the other hand, an ungodly fire produces a desire to perform acts (or an act) that negates God’s will and commandments. It destroys completely. It can also be an ungodly act in itself as we see in the case of Nadab and Abihu who died because they offered strange fire before the Lord.

The ungodly fire made Samson go after strange women. It destroyed hi. Some years ago, one of my spiritual sons was confronted with a strange fire of erotic emotions with his secretary. He sought spiritual counsel from me and I told him plainly to sack her immediately. He did and the strange fire was quenched. When you allow strange fire to grow, it will destroy. This is why the Lord wants you to beware of strange fire.
Strange fire could be unbiblical worship. For example, an intending couple should not spend nights together alone in the name of prayer vigil. It is strange fire when a lady comes to minister at the altar with sensitive parts of her body exposed. A pastor that introduces the blood of animals as a means of anointing during deliverance service is also dealing in strange fire. It destroys. Read the Bible and crosscheck your life today for any such appearance. If there is, put it out from the source immediately.

5.Father, let every spirit of disobedience and self-Will in my life be consumed by Your fire; empower me to watch and to pray, without ceasing, that I may not enter into temptation, in Jesus' name.
6.Father, with You, all things are possible; please, make possible in my life and destiny, everything that the enemies have concluded, is not possible, in Jesus' name.
7.Father, please, order my steps in Your word, and do not let any iniquity have dominion over me; and, help me live a life of faith, in Jesus' name.
8.Father, please, supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and let poverty become history in my life, in Jesus' name.
9.Lord Jesus, I decree and declare, that by Your stripes, I am healed; please, let me experience positive turnaround, in all areas of my life, in Jesus' name.

5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

MESSAGE
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:3
There is power in God’s word. By it, He created the universe and still does wonders today. In today’s Bible reading, Jesus had wanted to visit the home of a Centurion to heal his servant but was surprised when the Centurion asked Him to “speak the word only” (Matthew 8:8-10). Jesus spoke and the servant was indeed healed (Matthew 8:13). This was a fulfilment of the prophesy “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalm 107:20).
A lot of people keep searching for deliverance, yet they disregard the most potent weapon- the word of God. For example, God’s word came to Caln but he ignored it. The word was meant to warn him, to deliver him from the possible error and subsequent sorrow and perdition, but he let the opportunity slip away through envy (Genesis 4:6-7).
Dear reader, the word of God is coming to you today, do not ignore it.
God’s word says “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Matthew 26:41). What should you do? Obey, watch, watch, increase your prayer time so temptation will not sweep you away from the faith.
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (Romans 6:14). Believe the word and you will be free from sin permanently.
Philippians 4:19 says “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” if you believe, poverty shall become history in your life. If you are sick, 1 Peter 2:24 says by Christ’s stripes, we have been healed. Beloved, as you believe the Word today, you will experience a positive turnaround in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, please help me live a life of faith, so the Word You have sent may deliver me from all destructions.

Like Begets Like
Prayer Points:
1.Thank You, my Father, for creating me in Your image and likeness, and for the salvation of my soul.
2.Father, in anyway I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me, in Jesus name.
3.Father, uproot by fire, every plant You have not planted in my life and and destiny; and in the lives and destinies of my children, in Jesus name.
4.Father, I reject every character trait in my parent's life that is ungodly, and that does not glorify Your name, in Jesus name.
5.Father, let everything in my life, that does not resemble Your image and likeness, be uprooted, in Jesus name.
6.Father, I hand over all my children to You, please, possess them for Your use and train them in Your way, in Jesus name.
7.Father, make me a good and perfect example, worthy of emulation to my children, as Christ, is a perfect example to the Church, in Jesus name.
8.Father, please, give me the grace to live a life of total obedience and to make the right choices and decisions in life, so that I and my children, may live and be blessed, in Jesus name.

Like Begets Like
Prayer Points:
1.Thank You, my Father, for creating me in Your image and likeness, and for the salvation of my soul.
2.Father, in anyway I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me, in Jesus name.
3.Father, uproot by fire, every plant You have not planted in my life and and destiny; and in the lives and destinies of my children, in Jesus name.
4.Father, I reject every character trait in my parent's life that is ungodly, and that does not glorify Your name, in Jesus name.
5.Father, let everything in my life, that does not resemble Your image and likeness, be uprooted, in Jesus name.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL
DATE: MONDAY 1ST JUNE 2020.
THEME: LIKE BEGETS LIKE.
MEMORISE:
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Matthew 6:1-4
READ: Ephesians 6:1-4
1Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
MESSAGE
After God created heavens and the earth, He established some laws and principles to guide their operations and determine the course of everything in creation. Some of these laws are stated specially in the Bible while some are implied.
Humanity has identified some of these laws and has captured many of them as adages and proverbs such as “Whatever goes up must come down”, ‘The wages of sin is death’, ‘Whatever you sow, you shall reap’, ‘Give never lack’, ‘Like begets like’ and so on. These laws and principles are universal and quite consistent. Indeed, anything that goes up will surely come down, and like usually begets like in that come down, and like usually begets like in that children typically inherit the qualities and features of their ancestors. This principle is clearly defined in Mathew 7:17-18 as follows:
“Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
It is an established fact that a parent’s character is often replicated in his/her children. The Bible severally confirms this principle. However, this principle is not immutable because good fathers sometimes have bad children as seen in Eli’s case, and bad fathers may have good children. The Bible says God keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 7:9).
All parents is general and Christian parents in particular should have a time of personal reflection today, to examine themselves and consider the implications of their behavior and attitude on their children for generations to come. After this, they would need to make appropriate amendments. Live a life of total obedience to God from today, so your children can enjoy God’s blessings for generations to come (Psalm 112:1-2).

Father, please help me to leave a good inheritance for my children’s children, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Open Heavens Prayer Points
Prayer Points on Today’s Open Heavens: (Sunday, May 31, 2020)
Don’t Lose Confidence in Christ
Special Note:
These prayer points are not written by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, but by one of his numerous disciples, of Christ, who was inspired and mandated by the Holy Spirit, about 5 years ago, (effective January 1st, 2015), to start writing these prayer points, based on the Open Heavens Daily Devotional, authored by Pastor E. “Lord Jesus, I come to You with a deeply repentant heart, please, forgive me all my sins. I surrender my life to you, today, and, I accept You, as my personal Lord and Saviour. Please, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hell fire. In Jesus' name, I pray.”
Prayer Points:
1.Lord Jesus, I worship and adore You, the Author and the Finisher of my faith.
2.Father, in anyway I have fallen short of your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me, in Jesus' name.
3.I declare that Christ is my sufficiency, I shall have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, in Jesus' name.
4.Father, I cast all my cares upon You, please, strengthen and renew my faith in You, daily; I refuse to give up, at the edge of my breakthrough, in Jesus' name.
5.Lord Jesus, please, help me not to lose confidence in Your ability to save me, till the end; give me the grace to believe in You, to the end.
6.Father, please help me to hold on to You and let my confidence in Christ increase, daily, rather than diminish, in the mighty name of Jesus.
7.Father, please, empower me to lay aside, every weight of sin that easily besets me, and run this race set before me, with patience, in Jesus' name.
8.Father, give me the grace to endure the cross and look beyond my present sufferings, unto the joy that is set ahead of me, in Jesus' name.
9.Father, please, when the roll is being called up yonder, let me be counted among them, in Jesus' name.
10.Father, bless your son, Pastor E.A.Adeboye, please, keep him till the end, without blemish or wrinkle, in Jesus' name.
